CHAIR SEEKINS announced HB 169to be up for consideration.                                                                       
                                                                                                                                
REPRESENTATIVE ROKEBERG, sponsor, explained  that HB 169 provides                                                               
for  post-licensing education  of 20  hours after  the individual                                                               
takes the examination  and receives his initial  license. This is                                                               
very much a  consumer protection bill and has the  support of the                                                               
industry. It also  ratifies the concept of hiring  an attorney to                                                               
review and supervise transactions,  which is particularly helpful                                                               
to large firms.
